    Research from  patients with ulcerative colitis showes that compared to the group receiving conventional medication,after giving barley grass,those patients showes remarkable improvements in their symptoms - including fewer episodes of diarrhoea and less pain. Other studies in Japan improves that barley grass  significantly improves the flow of blood and lowers the amount of LDL (Low Density Lipoprotein) cholesterol. Although there is no exact studies, some cancer patients given barley grass are healed.
